Rallyschool has joined forces with the NSW Excel Series to continue the growth of the series, not only within NSW but across Australia in 2010, taking the naming rights sponsorship for the series, now known as the “Rallyschool.com.au 2010 NSW Excel Rally Series”.

This weekend will see the first round of the series contested at the 2010 CarNet Auctions Rally of Lithgow. The pace noted event will provide an interesting start to the 2010 calendar with series Stalwarts brothers Matt and Ben Cullen set to enjoy their favourite event format. Matt and Ben have proven to be quick with pace noted events and will be hoping to ensure they are the pace setters.

Up againt them will be the man who tied for the series title in 2009, Dave Roberts. Dave will once again team up with Orange based Navigator, Kate Murphy. Kate showed the way for most of 2009 and her skills with pace notes should make them a team to watch.

Canberra based competitor Richard Gray will have first time navigator Trinity Hewitson sitting beside him while Kornel Zbroinski and Lila Dabrowska will return to Lithgow after a good result in 2009.
A change in tactics is seeing many excel competitors choosing to get officials points at Lithgow. The 2010 series allows competitors to official at one round per season, this usually happens towards the end of the season, however a few notable regulars such as Stephen “Fro” Horobin and David White are both sitting out the first event.

With the relationship between RallySchool and the Excel Series cemented for 2010, the stake holders will be promoting this entry level, one make rally series to Rallyschool clients and motoring enthusiast throughout Australia.



Once again, the Rallyschool Excel Rally Series will also be supported by Motographics, Hyundai Genuine Parts and Gary’s Motorsport tyres.

The 2010 Rallyschool NSW Excel Rally Series includes events across the breath of NSW and is set to be quite a contest in 2010.
